Okay everybody, this is the iphone 3 port of the Typophone 4

[link]I added 24h format for the clock, the german language support and I did some cosmetics to the graphics because word length and letterspacing are a little bit different in german.
Two languages are included in the download. The zip file contains two folders: Typophone3_de and Typophone3_en.
***************** INSTALLATION *****************
1. make sure your iPhone is jailbroken
2. install 'Winterboard' via 'Cydia'
3. download the ZIP and extract it anywhere
4. you must have installed OpenSSH on yout iPhone
5. connect with a FTP-Client of your choice to your iPhone
6. navigate to /private/var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX
7. copy the folder Typophone3_de or Typophone3_en (depends on your language preferences
)
8. go to 'Cydia', search for "No Slide To Unlock" and install it
9. go to 'Cydia', search for "Lockscreen Clock Hide" and install it
10. open 'Winterboard' and choose the theme, "Lockscreen Clock Hide" and "No Slide To Unlock" under "Select Themes"
11. RESPRING and have fun

I guess the problem is that you are on a 1G iPod. I don't know if that iDevice have special needs (although it should not have, 'cause themes depending on iOS version). I'm not able to test anything with such a device. Maybe you could ask somebody at modmyi forums.

There is no tutorial out there on how to fix this.
Have a look in the HTML file. At the beginning is a css part. There you'll find all you need including the path to the 'Background.png'.

and if necessary:
chmod go+rx Typophone3_en/
also, it would be a good idea to rename the directory to Typophone3_en.theme/ as that is how all the other themes are named:
mv Typophone3_en/ Typophone3_en.theme/
